Set selection within the value

The SelectText method sets selection within an edit. If the cursor is to the left of the first character, the value will be 0. To manually overide selection, you must set the AutoSelect property to False. The most common requirement for Selection handling is completing a value during input. This is managed automatically by the AutoCompleting event. SelectText is provided for completeness and is unlikely to be required for most development purposes.
