If you are installing or upgrading LANSA for Linux, perform the following steps:
Step 1. Prepare for LANSA installation (requires root privileges)
Step 2. Prepare database for LANSA (requires DBA privileges)
Step 3. Execute the install script (requires root privileges)
Step 4. Optionally Install Licenses (requires LANSA owner or root privileges)
Step 5. Customize the Install (requires DBA privileges)
Step 6. Configure LANSA Communications Extensions (requires LANSA owner or root privileges)
Step 7. Create listener startup and shutdown scripts (requires root privileges)
Step 8. Install EPCs (requires root privileges)
Step 9. Start the listener (requires root privileges)
Once you have successfully completed all the installation steps, please go on to Customize the LANSA Installation.
