Over-The-Shoulder installs are supported, provided access to IIS is not required. Microsoft requires administration rights to be able to read configuration information in IIS.
An administrator may choose to install into a shared or user-specific location. A non-administrator is automatically only given the option to install into a user-specific location.
An MSI may be executed directly from Windows Explorer, unless access to IIS is required.
