There are usually only a limited number of properties and methods of the ActiveX-enabled application itself (such as Microsoft Word) you need to work with. You will mainly be working with objects inside the application. You access these objects via the application.
To do this you need to know the object hierarchy of the ActiveX-enabled application you are using from LANSA. Usually this hierarchy is described in the online documentation of the application itself.
