Rules |
LANSA function name must not exceed 7 characters. Program names may be 10 characters. |

Warnings |
LANSA checks that the 3GL program or function name specified is valid, but does not check that it actually exists. The program should be able to be located at the time the system variable is evaluated. |

IBM i: The program should be in the user's library list at the time the system variable is evaluated. |
