4.4.6 Sample material

Selecting this option will import relevant demonstration packages into the current Partition.

The sample material includes the Personnel System files that are used for a number of Visual LANSA V14 SP2 examples and demonstrations.

Some of the objects included are:

• DirectX demonstration data and applications

• Web sample applications

• Samples and examples

• Sample table data & definitions

The earlier Personnel System tables (PSLMST, DEPTAB, etc) used in older tutorials and examples are still shipped. All newer tutorials and examples use the new set of tables and fields which all begin X.
