How Do Themes Work?

Themes and Styles in LANSA work on simple basis: Styles are cumulative. The hierarchy of processing is as follows:

All controls have a default appearance. When a Theme is applied, the features of the styles that make up the Theme Draw Styles are applied to the control. For example, a normal push button with a Draw Style applied that makes the font bold and underlined, the button will have bold, underlined text. All other styling will remain as is. If a local style is then applied, that makes the font blue, it will have bold, underlined and blue text. Other than that, it will look like a button.
