3. Tables

There are three kinds of tables and the icon beside the table name indicates which type it is. The table types and icons used are:

LANSA table

Created and maintained by LANSA.

IBM i Table

The definition of the table has been loaded into LANSA using Import Tables from an IBM i.

   

Imported Table   

Tables with this icon are created and maintained by another application. The definition of the table has been loaded into LANSA from an ODBC data source. They are not IBM i tables. For more information refer to Imported Tables in the Visual LANSA Developer's Guide.
