Summary of Installed Objects
The LANSA IBM i Installation program will install some or all of the following objects depending upon the options selected during the installation:
LANSA for i (defaults)
New libraries for the LANSA programs, data, communications and web include:
New profiles created:
- QOTHPRDOWN user profile will be created.
- DCXPGMLIB user profile as the LANSA for i Partition Security Officer.
Note that this partition security officer has no special authority outside the LANSA system. You must give authority to this user profile (or user profile of your choice) to the IFS directory, which is used by the Listener.
- Job description: DCXJOBD.
LANSA directory tree:
- /LANSA_dcxpgmlib (_dcxpgmlib will be replaced with the name that was selected during install.)
If LANSA PASE objects are installed, the following directory will be created:
- /QOpenSys/LANSA_dcxpgmlib/
New Listener configuration:
- New job description: DCXLISTJQ
New directories on the IFS include:
- /LANSA_dcxpgmlib/webserver/images
- /LANSA_dcxpgmlib/webserver/servlet - No longer applicable
New HTTP configuration instance will be defined with the name DCXPGMLIB.
- New libraries will be created for the LANSA programs including:
- QOTHPRDOWN user profile will be created.
LANSA Integrator (defaults)
- Java Service Manager objects library name: DCXJSMLIB.
- QOTHPRDOWN user profile will be created (if this is a standalone Integrator install).
- LANSA_dcxpgmlib/jsm/instance or LANSA_DCXJSMLIB/jsm/instance will be created on the IFS for Java Service Manager files.
- Job description will be created for the Java Service Manager.
- Subsystem description will be created for the Java Service Manager.
