VLF RAMP uses aXes to present modernized 5250 screens in command handler panes and in the RAMP Tools facility.
aXes has two layout engines referred to as aXes-TS and aXes-TS2.
The Execution Engine is the aXes engine chosen to present modernized 5250 screens in command handler panes at execution time.
The RAMP Tools Engine is the aXes engine chosen to be used in the RAMP Tools facility.
You should normally use aXes-TS2 as the Execution Engine and as the RAMP Tools Engine.
The use of aXes-TS as the execution engine for RAMP in VLF.NET applications is no longer officially supported. VLF.NET applications that use aXes-TS as their RAMP engine will need to be changed to us the aXes-TS2 engine.
