AWS – How to Deploy an Application

This section contains exercises that demonstrate how to deploy a LANSA application into AWS. If all you need to do is provide a demonstration of a LANSA Stack, then essentially, it is just a few clicks and then wait in the region of 45 minutes for all the parts of the stack to be provisioned.

If you wish to deploy your own application (there is a sample application provided to use these exercises), then the application must be uploaded first and more care must be taken over the database server type, the size of the virtual machine instances, the number of instances, and security settings.

To complete this objective, perform the following exercises:

CTE010 – Upload your LANSA Web Application

CTE020 – Subscribe to the LANSA Images

CTE040 – Create the LANSA Stack

CTE050 – Watch the LANSA Stack Scale In Objective

CTE060 – Prepare Stack for stack changes

CTE070 – Apply LANSA Patch to all Web Server Instances

CTE080 – Apply LANSA Application Upgrade to all Web Server Instances
