Review Independent System Administration with a VCS Master.
The Git repository is not set up in the Cloud instance, but Git itself is set up so it is ready to use. You will see Git Extensions on the windows desktop.
The first machine to use this Git repository may either be set up with the default LANSA repository or it may be set up from an external LANSA system. See either 4.2.2 Setting up a New VCS Master for Git in the Cloud or 4.2.3 Migrating a Partition from a Slave to a VCS Master for Git in the Cloud.
Once the first machine is installed follow the steps in 4.2.4 Sharing a Git Repository with GitLab and then 4.2.5 Setting up 2nd and Subsequent Developers to use a VCS Master for Git in the Cloud.
If you already have a Git repository then you can go straight to 4.2.5 Setting up 2nd and Subsequent Developers to use a VCS Master for Git in the Cloud even though it's the first instance you have created.
