8.4.5 Send

The Send option sends the open source to the host specified by the configuration file. Before the data is sent you will be asked to confirm the transaction by selecting Yes on the Send confirmation Message Box.

If you select Yes, then the data will be transferred to the host.

If the URI entry contains a *prompt or *promptsecure value in any one of the optional keyword parameters, then a prompt dialog will appear and allow the sender to change the URL keyword values:

The dialog field order is the same as order of the keywords on URL query string.

csv.uri=/cgi-bin/jsmdirect?service=ordersv&id=CUST001&password=*promptsecure&merchant=ACME

Response

A response message may be displayed in the Response tab to indicate the success or failure of the transaction.

Right mouse click to open the popup menu to either Save the response to a file or to Copy the response to the Clipboard. Extra save file name menu items will appear if the host service has used the UAPATH and UAFILE keywords when sending the response data. If the response data is CSV or TSV and the name of the file being used to save this data into has an .xls extension an Excel document is created.
