Use a common IBM i user profile to connect to multiple LANSA system listener jobs.
This feature is required if you expect to have a user profile connecting to multiple LANSA system applications.
Prior to LANSA Version 14, all user profiles required LANSA communications and program libraries to be in their library list before connecting to a LANSA listener system.
As described in Library List Considerations in the LANSA Communications Setup Guide, the LANSA communications and program libraries are now added to the user's library list if these libraries are not already in the list.
This allows you to create multiple-use user profiles where a user can log into multiple LANSA system applications in multiple LANSA systems using a single user profile. The client's host definition determines the LANSA listener and port to connect to on the server, and the listener adds the LANSA communications and program libraries to the user's library list if these libraries are not already in the list.
Note that this option is only available if the LANSA communications and service programs are installed in their standard libraries.
