View Branch displays all local branches, remote repositories and their branches and all commits in the current repository.
The current local branch is shown in bold. The commit list shows the commit message, commit Id, author and date committed and the location of all branch heads. Commits which are a branch head are shown in blue while the commit which is the current branch head is shown in dark orange.
To use this action, navigate to the Git repository folder in the Version Control tab. The Git Status column displays the current branch. Select the View Branches button from the view toolbar, or right-click and select Version Control -> View Branches. The View Branches dialog is displayed:
