Displays properties of an object

Details

Property sheets are used for display and editing of object properties.
 
The Visual LANSA IDE Details view uses a property sheet to support the editing of component definitions.
 
A Property Sheet typically has two columns, one for the description of the property, and one for the value, which can be either a simple value or a list of values defined using a PickList
 
As all the items in the Property Sheet are unlikely to be the same type of data, it is necessary to specify a DataClass to be used as an edit.
 
The value entered via the dataclass instance will be mapped in to the column Source field.

Example

The example below shows a simple property sheet using string, number and boolean data.
 
When an item gets focus, the value is put in the form caption.
