Git Repository

Git repositories may be created from the Version Control tab. Visual LANSA provides the flexibility to create a Git repository in any folder under the Version Control folder. However, it is recommended that Git repositories are created at either the Version Control folder level or the Partition/System Information folder level. See Partitions in the Visual LANSA Administration guide for how partitions should be organized. Creating nested Git repositories is strongly discouraged. If nested Git repositories do exist, Visual LANSA will associate an object with only its immediate parent Git repository.
