PRIM_DTVW is the base class for all LANSA layout manager classes such as Table Layout. Layout Managers provide the basis for LANSA's responsive design framework, controlling the size and position of controls on the screen. As the container components are resized, Layout Managers continually re-evaluate the bounds of the individual control, resizing and repositioning them as required, without the need to write code. Other layout types are Attachment, Flow, Split and Grid. Unless the application requires complex generic programming, PRIM_DTVW is unlikely to be required for most development purposes.
