LANSA Composer provides support for collecting and analyzing detailed performance data for processing sequence runs.
Collecting and analyzing performance data is an advanced activity. It requires a detailed understanding both of LANSA Composer Processing Sequences and of operating system performance factors. It is easy to misinterpret the performance data in the absence of a full understanding of the topic.
This documentation does not purport to fully equip you to analyze LANSA Composer processing sequence performance data. Rather it simply describes the mechanisms provided to do so and provides some overview information about the data items collected.
It should be clearly understood that there is a performance cost associated with collecting the performance data. The cost can be very significant, especially for solutions that make intensive use (execute many service commands) of LANSA Integrator services. Performance data collection should not be enabled for normal use.
